The 316 Stainless Steel Round Bars and Rods are composed of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, which greatly enhances their resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Additionally, trace amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, and nitrogen help improve strength and stability. Mechanically, 316 stainless steel offers excellent tensile strength, good yield strength, and dependable toughness, even in low or high temperatures.
