At Hemi Metals, we are a premier manufacturer and supplier based in Hamilton New Zealand, specializing in delivering high-quality Stainless Steel 310 Forgings. It is known for having excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance properties and, therefore, for applications at high temperatures which ensure strength and reliability. Utilising advanced technology, we provide tailored solutions to suit your needs for excellence. Being an established organization focusing on superior craftsmanship and product quality, we can be your preferred supplier for premium-quality stainless steel products.
Stainless Steel 310 Forgings are composed primarily of iron, with high amounts of chromium (24-26%) and nickel (19-22%), providing excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance. They also contain small amounts of manganese, silicon and carbon. The mechanical properties include high tensile strength, excellent toughness and superior creep strength at elevated temperatures. These forgings are ideal for high-temperature applications due to their resistance to scaling and thermal expansion. Advantages include excellent resistance to oxidation, superior strength in extreme conditions, and long-term durability.

Temperature control during forging of Stainless Steel 310 ensures proper grain structure, enhancing its strength and resistance to oxidation. It also minimizes the risk of defects, ensuring consistent quality and performance in high-temperature applications.
Assess the forging strength of Stainless Steel 310 for aerospace by conducting tensile, fatigue, and hardness tests, ensuring uniform grain structure and high-temperature resistance.
Stainless Steel 310 Forgings require minimal maintenance, typically involving regular cleaning to prevent buildup and periodic inspections for signs of wear or corrosion, especially in high-temperature environments.
Stainless Steel 310 Forgings are widely used in high-temperature applications due to their excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability. They are commonly found in industries such as power generation, chemical processing and furnace components. These forgings are ideal for use in heat exchangers, thermal reactors, boiler parts and kiln components. Stainless Steel 310 is also used in applications where high-strength and resistance to scaling are critical, such as in the production of gas turbines, refinery equipment and industrial ovens.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
