Titanium DIN 3.7195 Bars/ Rods have high-performance alloy titanium with aluminum and vanadium. They have a very good strength-to-weight ratio and offer high corrosion resistance even in very harsh environments like those associated with the marine, chemical processing, and aerospace industries. Grade 9 titanium has most of the properties of the grade 5 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) but has been improved by studies for better weldability and formability. They are commonly used in areas which need high strength and high resistance against oxidation such as aerospace components, heat exchangers, and sporting goods.
